UPDATE: I have been blessed with a few inquiries with regards to purchasing the tea room!

Saw my GP today, and he has ordered me to close the tea room - apparently, my body can’t handle the physical stress any longer, so this is what I have to do. Still hoping that someone will want to take the space over, and build upon what I started.

I’m so very grateful to everyone that supported me over the years; I will miss sharing smiles and stories with you, and hope to see you around town!

So, it happened again - chest pains, disoriented, etc. Went to OMH and received excellent care - was also sent to CMH for a CT scan, and again, received excellent care.

Long story short, I’ll be seeing both an internist as well as a stroke specialist in the coming weeks - while there was no definitive diagnosis of a stroke, Dr. PJ at OMH was concerned that I may have had a TIA, as today’s symptoms were worse than Monday’s.

With that, I’ll be resting until Monday at least, and possibly longer if needed. I am sure hoping that this isn’t what takes me out before the end of the month!

Still not 100% my friends - I’m so sorry. Hoping that I can be back tomorrow, but the way my body feels, it’s going to be a day to day decision.

Knowing that my last day is July 31, every day away from my community feels so heavy.. but my body just won’t cooperate with me these days, and if I don’t want to end up back in ER, I need to heed what it is saying.

Once again, I can’t thank you all enough for your patience and understanding . 🙏🫶

Guys, I’m sorry - but I am just not able to make it in today. Not sure what the issue is, but I’ve had the dizzies since yesterday afternoon.

Next week is holiday week, so I’m back July 13th.

Gooood morning, and happy Wednesday!!

Tortellini soup will be ready for 11:45; more cheddar buns are on the second rise, and will be ready for 11.

Morning glory muffins are out, gluten and dairy free almond chocolate chip brownies are ready, vegan/gluten free chocolate chip cake is waiting for icing, and fruit tarts are waiting for the fruit, lol!

I’ll be here until 3pm, hustling hard as usual, and looking forward to seeing you all today!

You guys!!! You cleaned me out of food again yesterday, despite me refilling the case - THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!

Tomorrow, I’ll be opening at 10, so that I can restock some goods…

Please don’t forget that I’m taking next week off, and will be back at 10am on July 13th.

Things are happening behind the scenes - still nothing absolute to share, but as soon as I know, you’ll know…

Here’s one thing that I can tell you, though - tomorrow is tortellini soup day, and I’ll be making a big, big batch to go with fresh cheddar cheese buns!

Good morning, all!! Reminder that I will be closed tomorrow for the holiday, then back for Thursday and Friday, before I take a week of from the 6-10.

Beautiful, creamy butternut squash soup is ready, and fresh cheese buns just came out of the oven 🤗

Almond chocolate chip brownies (gluten & dairy free are in the case, along with peach scones and egg custard tarts.

I’ll be making more sammies after I post, and I’ll be here until 3pm, ready to serve, and looking forward to sharing this beautiful day with you!
