Cienna !!

We begin with our first candidacy post of the 2026 Candidate Season:
Introducing Candidate Cienna Fossett, sponsored by Oliver Eats Ltd.:
Cienna is a 15-year-old Grade 10 student that attends Southern Okanagan Secondary School. She comes from a small but busy household that consists of her parents, Tanja and Kyle, and what she likes to call her “herd” of animals. Cienna plays field hockey on her school's team and has grown up skiing at Mt Baldy in the winter. Growing up in Oliver, she has always enjoyed soaking up the sunshine on the beach. In the future, Cienna hopes to travel to the coast and pursue a career in healthcare, specifically in the geriatric field. As much as she wants to live on Vancouver Island, she could also see herself improving her Spanish and living part time in South America or Spain. At the end of her candidacy, she hopes to have completed at least three of her specific goals: complete her speeches with confidence and speak about her topics passionately, make new friendships she will cherish forever, and become a known face in her community.

We’re kicking off September with a Portuguese-inspired Dash Away week — big flavours, smoky BBQ, citrus, peppers, spice and plenty of comfort food coming out of the Oliver Eats kitchen.

Then, after Labour Day Monday — when we’ll be CLOSED — we’re back Tuesday and rolling straight into another week of Oliver Eats favourites, including cheesy comfort food, homemade pot pie and Friday wing night.
