It has been a difficult few weeks in the Okanagan, and our hearts are with our neighbours in Summerland and communities throughout British Columbia who are currently facing the impacts of wildfires.
Several businesses in the District W**e Village have come together to offer support to those affected during this challenging time. Here are some of the ways they are giving back:
W**emaker's Cut & Gneiss W**es
Throughout August, 100% of tasting fees and $2 from every bottle sold will be donated to wildfire relief efforts. To help you enjoy Okanagan w**es from home, they are also offering FREE SHIPPING on all orders throughout the month.
Ward's W**e Country Kitchen
From August 14 to 23, we're matching great food with community support. Order any burger and $5 from your meal will be donated to the BC Wildfire Relief Fund.
Canter Cellars
Throughout August, $2 from every bottle sold will be donated to wildfire relief efforts.
Spacedog W**es
$2 from every w**e tasting and $2 from every bottle of w**e sold at the w**ery will be donated to the BC Wildfire Relief Fund from August 14 - 31
Community Raffle | This Weekend (Friday to Sunday)
Visit the District W**e Village and enter to win one of several incredible prize baskets donated by participating businesses. Purchase a raffle ticket with a donation for your chance to win. All proceeds will be donated to the SOS Wildfire Response Fund through the Community Foundation.
On a day by day basis, if air quality permits, live music, Music Bingo, and the Silent Disco will resume this weekend.
Information regarding the Blue Rodeo concert will be communicated directly to ticket holders.
