Ok folks! So far it looks like just the Black Stag Bakery Instagram account was hacked/stolen. All other accounts including this one and Square are safe and the show must go on!
With just two markets left in Olds and Red Deer before we take a break during July and August, we are preparing for some busier market days. Pre-orders close tonight @ 10pm for this Thursday in Olds and currently the best way to do that is shoot me an email at [email protected].
I'll do a live video here in a minute to confirm it's me and we'll go from there :)
It's a great menu this week with beautiful Sour Cherry Cheesecake Tarts, they're always a hot seller :)

Aside from being hacked and losing my instagram account today, I also slathered more Salted Caramel Buttercream on Brownies for the Red Deer farmers market this Saturday, June 13th.

Our Black Stag Bakery instagram account was hacked and stolen today. Please don’t place orders through the link available on instagram in case the perpetrators make a fake square account that looks like mine and steal your money.
Have a listen while I explain another potential option for pre-orders for the next two weeks as well as, the last markets in September.

If you receive an email from someone pretending to be me from this address: [email protected] please report it to Gmail as a fraudulent account. I would never ask anyone for anything.
If for some reason, they managed to steal this Facebook account as well, then we hope that you’ll continue to come to the market to see us, despite having lost our ability to communicate via social media.

Sorry, Black Stag Bakery customers. I am unsure at this point if my Facebook business account is compromised as well, as it is connected to the Instagram account. Please note that we would never ask anyone for money over a instagram or Facebook and would only accept payment through our website.

FYI this is happening currently and I don’t have access to my instagram account now. I also don’t have time to deal with it as I have to get baking for the Red Deer Market tomorrow.
The culprit has also created a [email protected] address and has emailed me at me actual email address [email protected] using that address to insinuate that I have hacked THEIR Black Stag Bakery account. So please disregard any emails you may receive from [email protected] as they are not from me.

Friendly reminder that we will be attending just two more markets in Olds before we close the kitchen for July and August. Including this Saturday, we will be attending three more markets in Red Deer and of course will be back in September to finish the season 👍🏼
