IT’S BIRD SHIRT WEEK AT GROUCHY’S!

The Bourbon Bird is our Burger of the Month… so naturally, we decided the birds should take over.

This week, our staff is breaking out their best bird shirts — flamingos, ducks, parrots, chickens, penguins, eagles… if it has feathers, it counts!

And we want YOU to join the flock!

Heading to Grouchy’s this week? Wear your favourite bird shirt! The louder, funnier, or more ridiculous, the better.

There’s no big reason behind it. No complicated rules. We’re just having some fun, making each other laugh, and giving everyone an excuse to wear a ridiculous shirt to work.

Wait...its August already? Time flies, but at least the flavor doesn't slow down!

This month we're featuring a crispy chicken burger stacked with all the good stuff.

Crispy applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, apple cabbage slaw, breaded pickle spear, apple bourbon bbq sauce and mayo, all served on a toasted glossy bun.

Every Bourbon Bird sold helps support the
Mountain View Hospice Society.
We donate $1 from every burger sold and Railyard Brewing is matching every donation while we proudly showcase their incredible lineup of local craft beers - while quantities last!

That means $2 from every burger goes directly to this amazing local cause.

THE SANCTUARY

Our July burger of the month, features a grilled chicken breast, prosciutto, melted provolone cheese, pesto, arugula, juicy beefsteak tomato, sun-dried tomato aioli, all served on a toasted herb schiaccita bun.

But the best ingredient? Giving back.

Teaming up with Vacay Brewing Co, out of Calgary, for every Sanctuary burger sold in July, $2.00 will be donated to Kirsten's Place, a local emergency shelter that provides safe housing and support for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.

Every bite helps make a difference in our community.

SUNDAE FUNDAY!

Remember those summer days as a kid when the biggest decision was which ice cream flavor to pick? Chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry?

Now that we're all grown up, we've combined all three into something a little more fun.

We brought back the Sundae Funday — our boozy cocktail that tastes just like Neapolitan ice cream and is the perfect companion for a hot day on the patio.
Sweet, creamy, and packed with childhood nostalgia, it's everything you loved as a kid... just with a little extra kick.

Because adulting isn't always fun, but ice cream-inspired cocktails certainly are.

This past month, our Bison Blue Burger wasn't just a fan favorite—it became a way for our community to give back. None of it would have been possible without HGB Bison Ranch, whose locally raised bison helped us serve hundreds of burgers throughout the month.

We're incredibly grateful to Last Best Brewing & Distilling for stepping up and matching donations, helping us make an even bigger impact.
