Rosca de reyes, traditional sweet bread made to celebrate the Feast of The Epiphany.. The day the Wise Men came to give honor to the Holy Infant, and to share their gifts.
Today Mexican kids woke up with presents under their Christmas tree, presents from the Wise Men ( called in Mexico as the “three Magic Kings, Melchor, Gaspar and Balthazar).

During this days all family will gather together to drink hot chocolate and eat Rosca de Reyes.

The traditional Rosca de Reyes is a bread like cake with a plastic baby inside representing baby Jesus, hidden into the king cake. ... In some traditions, the finder of the baby is designated “king” or “queen” for the evening. That person is also responsible for purchasing next year's cake

So I thought I might share a thought about giving and sharing, and the their difference. Pure giving is the process of bestowing a present or part of ourselves on someone else, expecting no reciprocation. When we share, we bond with another to become an equal part of the energy exchange. People come together to share ideas, ideals and causes. We are meant to share the Earth with all of life. There is an element of giving in sharing: sharing what we possess in the true spirit of graciousness means offering what we can spare, with a pure heart free of expectation, to benefit the whole. No strings attached!! And when we respond by sharing our energy, love and gratitude we are strengthening the bond between Earth and Heaven.
