You know the saying "Make Plans. God Laughs."
Well God, Universe, the Cosmic Divine... I hope you're having a giggling great time!
Life behind the scenes the past 2 weeks has been nothing short of eventful... Life giving Lemons and Curveballs a plenty... there is truly something to be said about the Resilience of us Humans. Alas, I truly believe that everything in life happens FOR us not TO us which brings me to this post today...
Our hopeful location in Guelph is no longer going to be, for reasons I cannot disclose. Albeit a very devastating blow I'm still optimistic about the Future.
Finding a Location has been a very long process and not for the faint of heart, let me tell ya! We always did have our hearts set on returning to Oakville as that is where this all started - It was home for us! Returning to Oakville seemed out of reach as many units we seeked were solely interested in Franchises so we looked elsewhere! (seriously, we've probably scouted over 30 Locations within Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga, Waterdown, Georgetown, Milton, Guelph.. You name it, we've considered it!)
It's been a journey this past year with the 2 REALLY Hopeful Locations that were be the New Home of GEMINI GRUBHAUS - only for them to be ripped away from us in the 11th Hour.
I can't go through losing another location a third time so I've decided to take a different approach and let the Universe guide us to our DESTINED PERFECT Location - WITHIN OAKVILLE! Our hearts belong here. Lots has gone on behind the scene and many more locations have popped up that could work for us so I'm doing things slightly unconventional and a little backwards - makes things more exciting! I'm raising the money first and however much we raise will determine what location will be ours. It could either be North or South Bronte, Downtown, Dundas Core, East Oakville, Etc...
Some units are Empty Shells while others need Major Renovations. Some are on the smaller side and others have more space that will allow for us to create more deliciousness for you all! I'm leaving it up to the Universe to set the new path for GEMINI GRUBHAUS!
