We are so excited to announce that Oak Cafe Gallery is officially rebranding to BU Cafe & Market!

What started with BU Candles by Jacob has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined but always something we dreamed about.

This next chapter allows us to continue building a space rooted in inclusion, community, creativity, and opportunity.

BU Cafe & Market was created with the belief that everyone deserves a place to belong, be valued, and be celebrated for exactly who they are. Our mission is to create meaningful employment opportunities, encourage inclusivity, and showcase the unique talents and abilities within our community all while continuing to spread the message behind BU Candles:

Join us for a Silk Painting Session led by artist Tatiana Dragalin from Studio con Amore on Friday February 27m 2026 from 6:pm to 8:00 pm.

Unwind and recharge during this 2 hour relaxing workshop, designed to bring tranquility and inner harmony to your life.

We will create a beautiful mandala or silk card for you or to give as a gift to someone else.

Discover the benefits of this workshop, including meditating through art and creativity, taking time to reconnect with yourself and expressing yourself through colour, form and texture.

Plus, spend quality time with your family and/or friends, make new connections and have fun. No prior experience is required and all materials will be provided, along with step by step instructions.
