Responsibilities
Prepare pizzas out of our menu and based on custom orders
Bake a wide variety of pizza doughs, including thin crust, thick crust and cheese-stuffed
Make fresh tomato, pesto and white cream sauces
Wash and chop vegetables (for example, tomatoes, peppers, onions and mushrooms)
Cut, slice and grill meats like chicken, ham and beef
Monitor food stock and place orders, as needed
Use less traditional ingredients to appeal to a larger audience (for example, vegan cheese and gluten-free flour)
Cook appetizers, like mozzarella sticks, pizza bites, garlic breads and salads
Recommend new recipes to update our menus
Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment
Requirements
Work experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a restaurant
Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza doughs
Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and brick or stone oven
Understanding of food hygiene
Good time-management skills
Team spirit
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings
Diploma from a culinary school is a plus

1. Deliver company products according to company policy and procedures
1.1.1.1. Provide excellent customer service
1.1.1.2. Provide effective communication to assist customers with purchasing

2. Prepare food for cooking/ cook food for displays.
2.1.1. Interact with customers and help them as needed.
2.1.2. Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
2.1.3. Check food on the hour for correct temperature and product quality.

3. Responsible for preparing orders as ordered by customers.
3.1.1. Used various recipes, methods and portions to prepare food.
3.1.2. Responsible for checking food items and make sure the regular quality at all times.
3.1.3. Cleaning schedules are followed for storage areas and designated equipment.
3.1.4. Make sure that the orders are presented in delicious manner

4. Responsible for the daily preparation of food items on grill/crepe/omelet station specials and regular menu items
4.1.1. Prepare food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner while keeping grill as clean as possible
4.1.2. Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation specification as set by professional staff.
4.1.3. Restock all items as needed throughout shift and clean/maintain station while practicing good safety and sanitation skills

5. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
5.1.1. Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
5.1.2. Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
5.1.3. Cook and package batches of food, such as hamburgers and fried chicken, which are prepared to order or kept warm until sold.
5.1.4. Prepare specialty foods such as pizzas, fish and chips, sandwiches, and tacos, following specific methods that usually require short preparation time.
5.1.5. Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
