After 40+ wonderful years — 25 years at Black Forest Pastry Shop in Downtown Oakville and 16 years at Bread & Roses in Bloor West Village — we have made the decision to retire from the bakery business and bring our time in Oakville to a close at the end of May 2027.

For 25 years, the support, loyalty and friendship of our Oakville customers has meant everything to our family. We are incredibly grateful for all the birthdays, celebrations, family traditions and everyday visits that have made Black Forest such a special part of our lives.

While we are retiring from the Oakville bakery, we’re very happy to share that the Black Forest tradition will continue. In 2028, our daughter will be opening her own bakery in Meaford, Ontario, carrying the family business into its next chapter.

We still have many months together in Oakville, and we look forward to more baking, more memories and making these final months very special.

Thank you Oakville for 25 amazing years. ❤️
