❤️ We just wanted to take a moment to say how incredibly proud we are of our team.

While Rob and I have had to step away for some unexpected health reasons, every single person at The Clucking Hen has pulled together, stepped up, supported one another, and kept everything running. Seeing the way everyone came together for Canada Day made us realize just how lucky we are.

This little restaurant is more than a business. It’s a family, and these amazing people are the heart of it.

Thank you for your hard work, your dedication, your long hours, your smiles, and for taking such great care of our guests while we’ve been away. We couldn’t be more grateful or more proud.

Hot take: if you’re driving the Cabot Trail, don’t waste the ocean views on an empty stomach.

Ocean views are nice.
Ocean views with a lobster roll are better.

Fresh lobster, toasted roll, coastal air, and maybe a chowder… maybe butter tarts for the road. That’s a pretty solid Cabot Trail stop if you ask me.

If you’ve had our lobster roll before, what would you tell a first-timer to get with it: chowder, fries, or butter tarts?
