What a weekend!
Summerfest was great, and we were super happy to see how people reacted to our "A Taste Of Lebanon".
We wanted to give everyone a feel of Lebanon, and so we went beyond the sandwich into a full meal. All packed into a neat box.
The boxes 📦 included:
A choice of Chicken or Beef Shawarma.
A pack of Spicy potatoes with a dip.
A dessert.
Everyone got to play games while waiting for their food to get ready. And MANY people won!
Gifts included:
Free pizza
Free brownie
Free entry to OKTOBERFEST, Sept 5.
Others won:
Entry to draw for a free pizza
Entry to the draw of Free entry to OKTOBERFEST
We had fun. Our stand visitors had fun. Everyone got good food, and enjoyed testing their luck fort extra wins.
We will soon be announcing the winners of the draws.
Thank you Township of North Frontenac staff, volunteers and council for yet another great Summerfest. Despite weather challenges you pulled a remarkable day.
And now, it's time to shoot a pic of that big white chair and take the view in. How pretty are those little purple flowers? They smell wonderful.
Did you know they're thyme? And did you know thyme is the main breakfast ingredient in Lebanon?
