Last Friday, September 18, we turned 6. Looking back and figuring out how we managed to survive opening a restaurant in the heart of covid with "less than ideal" business (ex)partners, was unsurprisingly easy.

We've been blessed with an inspiring team we deeply admire and adore. They continue to be a miracle. Growing with and for them is what we constantly look forward to.

As always thank you so much to our whole community for embracing us through all the ups and especially through the downs. Looking forward to the next 6.

On back to back Sundays last August, we had the absolute privilege of cooking for family. First was Nikki and Isiah’s post wedding brunch and then it was our nephew, Dario’s first birthday. Due to an unexpected family emergency, we have made the decision to scale back a bit and close our Yonge & Sheppard location. Family is the foundation of everything we do, and right now, we need to dedicate our unconditional time, care and energy to the family that has always given us theirs.

We are deeply grateful to Scarb Food Security Initiative, the Food Hall TO team, and the entire community for welcoming us so warmly. It has been a true privilege to serve you here.
