*Response to the social media post on the Facebook group*

We normally prefer to resolve concerns directly and privately with our guests. However, because this post contains serious allegations about both our food and a member of our management team, we feel it is important to provide some context.

We take concerns about food quality and safety seriously, and we are reviewing the preparation and handling of the items mentioned with our kitchen team.
We are also waiting to see the other 100 + patrons that we served today to contact us to see if anyone had any food related illness after dining at our establishment today.
We will be pro-actively reaching to the health unit tomorrow morning to ensure that we have and continue to follow proper handling and cooking procedures.

During this complaintants visit, concerns were raised regarding certain food items. Those items were removed from the bill.

The disagreement then arose when a request was made to have the entire meal removed from the bill. Management declined to comp items that were not part of the complaint.

We also want to address the allegation that our manager said, “this is why I hate serving people like you.” Our manager disputes making that statement or suggesting that she did not want to serve anyone because of their race or background. She has served the establishment for the last five years as part owner /manager and never been accused as of such things till this very post,
Unfortunately, the interaction became increasingly confrontational, and inappropriate comments were directed toward our manager. We will not engage in a public argument about those comments, but we take discrimination seriously in every direction. Beef n’ Brand welcomes guests and employs team members from many different backgrounds, and everyone—customers and employees alike—deserves to be treated with respect.

The guests have every right to share their experiences, including negative ones. At the same time, when serious allegations are made publicly, we believe it is appropriate for our business and our employees to have the opportunity to provide their side of the situation.

We remain committed to addressing legitimate concerns professionally, maintaining high food-safety standards, and treating every guest with respect.
