The 10th Hole Raffle at Season&Brew has officially wrapped up, and one lucky winner is taking home this amazing $275 local business goodie basket!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped in, grabbed a drink and entered the draw.

And once again, thank you to Season&Brew for hosting our 10th Hole and to all of the local businesses who contributed to the basket and supported the Sudbury East Chamber Golf Tournament. Your support helped make our first tournament such a success!

🍂 Fall feels like it's almost here and that, to me, means sweaters, scarves, spice and comfort foods! So we have some: 🍂

- Fresh maple walnut butter tarts 🍁

- Our NEW fall feature salad which includes: roasted butternut squash, cashews, dried cranberries, fresh pears, quinoa, crumbled goat cheese, pickled onion and a house-made chai-cider vinaigrette 🥗

- Buttercup squash soup (Vegan, GF) 🥔

- Tomato basil soup with chicken and rice (dairy-free, GF) 🍅

Next week, we'll get with the trends and bring in some pumpkin spice and chili! 🎃

Calling all storytellers & artists!

The Backstreet Gallery invites you to submit to our inaugural short story and art contest, with selected works to be published in the anthology “Eleven Myths and Muses: Stories Inspired by the French River Area.”

The top 11 short stories will be published, with the top two art pieces featured as the front and back covers! Finalists will also receive a free copy of the anthology and be invited to participate in the launch event.

You can enter up to three short stories and/or three artwork pieces. Entry fee is $25.00 per submission.

Short Story Prizes:
1st - $200
2nd - $150
3rd - $100

Artwork Prizes:

2nd - $150

Fresh omelette bites! Three cheese or bacon and cheddar!

Soups today are butter chicken with quinoa (this one is really hearty - i may have added some extra chicken 🐔😐)

Or a butternut squash and maple carrot with ginger!

Both are gluten and dairy free - the carrot soup is vegan!

Coming to a close on our summer salad within the next couple of weeks! Looking forward to bringing in some fall flavours!
