There is something so special about being a small part of life’s biggest celebrations!!

We had the honour of catering a beautiful baby shower at Lock 3 Museum, bringing together a spread made for gathering, sharing, and creating memories around the table.

Guests enjoyed freshly prepared sandwiches featuring oven roasted turkey, black forest ham, and slow roasted roast beef served on freshly baked baguettes, along with our award-winning egg salad on soft, light and airy croissants.

Of course, no celebration table is complete without the little details everyone loves. A colourful selection of fresh vegetables such as cherry tomatoes, peppers of all colours, cauliflower, broccoli and carrots. As well as seasonal fruit including strawberries, blueberries, grapes, watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple and more! Plus a beautiful assortment of meats and cheeses featuring genoa salami, pepperettes, summer sausage, and pepper sausage. Along with brie, aged cheddar, mozzarella, and marble cheese.

And we couldn’t forget one of our favourite conversation pieces, our famous Pringle cheeseball flower paired with artisan crackers!

Whether it’s a baby shower, bridal shower, family celebration, corporate event, or a special moment in between, we believe food should do more than fill plates, it should bring people together.

Some days are all about creating memories, and today was one of those days. ❤️

We spent Father’s Day morning at Northend Church serving up just over 200 Old Fashioned Root Beer Floats for dads, grandpas, father figures, and families celebrating together! 🥤

There’s just something about creamy vanilla ice cream, frosty root beer, and a whole lot of smiles that makes for the perfect Father’s Day treat.

We loved seeing everyone gather, laugh, connect, and enjoy a little taste of nostalgia. From the first float to the 200th, it was such a joy to be part of today’s celebration.

A huge thank you to Northend Church for having us and to everyone who stopped by for a float. We hope your day was filled with great memories, great company, and maybe a little extra sweetness too.

Cheers to all the dads and father figures who show up, work hard, love big, and make a difference every day. ❤️

To our incredible clients, friends, family, supporters, and everyone who took the time to register and vote for us in the Community Votes Niagara Region 2026 awards, we want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! To be nominated in SEVEN categories was already such an amazing accomplishment for our growing business, but to WIN in ALL 7 categories is something we truly never could have imagined. Karen’s passion for food, events, and helping others has been at the heart of this business from the very beginning. Proudly born and raised in the Niagara Region, Karen graduated from Niagara College’s Hotel & Restaurant Management program, is Food Handler Certified, and brings years of experience from both the food and events industry. From managing restaurants and retail leadership roles to serving the community through nonprofit work, every step of the journey has helped shape the heart behind Karen’s Catering today.

Karen’s mission has always been simple, provide high-quality food, beautiful presentation, incredible food spreads, and outstanding service while helping create unforgettable memories for your special events and celebrations. Sometimes in catering, you prepare for the numbers you’re given, and sometimes life happens and not every RSVP’d guest makes it. We get it and we understand! But instead of letting perfectly fresh, quality food go to waste, we choose to turn it into something meaningful.

At Karen’s Catering, we believe food is meant to bring people together, and that includes giving back to the community whenever we can. When there’s extra from an event, we work with local individuals supporting those experiencing homelessness to help provide meat for fresh sandwiches, fruit and veggies, along with cheese & cracker to put into packs for those who need it most.

For us, catering will always be about more than just serving meals. It’s about connection, care, and community. Being able to take something unexpected and turn it into an opportunity to help others is something we’re incredibly grateful for!

Thank you to all of you for trusting us with your events, because through your support, we’re also able to support others. A little kindness and a shared meal can go a long way. ❤️
