It is with a very heavy heart that I make this announcement to all of you.
Yesterday, Myself and my team here at Vivo Newmarket received some devastating news that our long time employee, friend and family member Kieran Kelly suddenly passed away
Kieran has been a member of the Vivo family for almost all 4 years that we have been open. Not only was Kieran a great worker, who over the years went from dishwashing to being the main cook, he also became a very close friend.
Days off spent at the restaurant cleaning and preparing for a busy week, or weekly breakfast dates at his favorite spot The Buttery, Kieran was a joy to be around.
Quick to a joke, but also able to have the most serious of conversations, it was always easy to find common ground with this young man.
It is heartbreaking to write this post, but I felt it was necessary. This is just a small gesture to try and begin to describe what this young man truly meant to all of of us here.
Kieran, I hope you are at rest now. Just know that we all love you and miss you greatly. You will always have a seat at our Vivo Table.
