1 year ago, we took a leap of faith and opened our doors in Newmarket. Today, a regular guest walked in with a surprise gift that reminded us why we love what we do so much. 🎁❤️

This past year has been an unforgettable journey, and moments like this make us realize moving here was truly the best choice. The love and warm support from our neighbors mean the world to us.

We’ll repay every bit of this kindness with uncompromising flavor and full dedication. Thank you for being part of the Naomi Sushi family! 🍣✨

From Victoria to Newmarket — all for a taste of home. ✈️🍣

We had the absolute honor of welcoming back a dear long-time customer from Victoria who was visiting Toronto on a brief vacation. They took the time out of their busy schedule to drive up to Newmarket so we could host their family for dinner.

Moments like this remind us that food brings people together, but loyalty creates family. Serving them again was a moment pure joy and nostalgia for our entire team.

Thank you for making the journey to see us. We are beyond grateful for your continued love and support! ❤️

Dear friends and family,

We are so incredibly grateful to be back. Thanks to your beautiful messages, endless support, and heartfelt condolences, we were able to lay my father to rest with peace and returned safely the day before yesterday. Your kindness kept us strong.

Although we originally hoped to open on the 18th, being away from the shop for so long means we need just a few more days to get everything perfectly ready for you. To ensure we welcome you back with the freshest ingredients, a sparkling clean space, and brand-new energy,
we will officially reopen on

Thank you so much for your patient waiting and wonderful understanding. We have missed you all dearly and cannot wait to serve you with a renewed heart this Wednesday!

See you very soon! ✨

A Message Regarding Our Reopening

Hello everyone,

As many of you know, we travelled to Korea to be with my father, who had been heavily ill. We are so grateful that we were able to spend his final remaining days together and peacefully say our last goodbyes.

To stay and comfort our family during this time of mourning, we have had to urgently delay our reopening. We are tentatively aiming to reopen on Saturday, July 18th, though we will confirm this with you closer to the date.

We are so very sorry for changing our schedule and keeping you waiting. Thank you so much for keeping our family in your thoughts and for your beautiful understanding.

We sincerely apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause to your dining plans. We deeply appreciate your warm understanding and support as we take this time for our family.

We look forward to welcoming you back with our best sushi and service as soon as we return!
