Some celebrations are worth crossing the country for. 🎂🧡

A group of friends — some travelling from different corners of Canada — came together to celebrate a birthday, and there was only one place that made sense. Regulars through and through, they know exactly what they're ordering before they even sit down.

Vitthal — standing in humility on the brick at Pandharpur, arms on his waist, waiting patiently for his devotees. For generations of Maharashtrian families, including ours, he is not a distant god. He is the one who waits.

This painting hangs in our restaurant because everything here begins with him. The recipes Geeta learned from her mother. The hands that make each dish. The blessing that fills this kitchen every single day.
