The Bear & Sturgeon Pub will be closing its doors on May 6th, 2023, as our bar manager, Shay Walder, is moving to a new town. We wish her all the best in her new adventures! The space will be renovated to serve patrons better in the future, and the good news is that the pub will stay open as an event space for the summer! If you're looking for a venue for an upcoming wedding, birthday, party, or any other event, don’t hesitate to give us a call!

We’d like to take a moment to thank Nelson for its loyal patronage. We invite everyone to raise a glass with us this weekend and say cheers to The Bear & Sturgeon Pub, and farewell to our beloved Shay!

On Sunday the 26thth, we can’t wait to see your beautiful faces on the dance floor for our monthly industry night!

What is industry night, you ask? We’ve got a DJ spinning tunes and ALL hospitality (including restaurant, hotel, tourism, event, and entertainment staff in the koots) get 25% off drinks all night long. It’s the best excuse to drink on a Sunday.
