Vital Blends is hiring! We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking part-time team member to join our team Monday through Friday.
Position Details
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10:30 AM–3:30 PM
• Hours: 20 hours per week (with potential for more hours in the future)
• Weekend Availability: Not required
• Starting Wage: $18/hour, with a wage increase following a successful 90-day probationary period
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on café position with a variety of daily responsibilities, including:
• Preparing smoothies, bowls, drinks, and food items according to recipes and quality standards
• Taking customer orders and providing friendly, efficient service
• Operating the POS system and handling payments
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
• Washing dishes and keeping kitchen and service areas stocked and tidy
• Assisting with food preparation, restocking, and inventory
• Following food safety and sanitation procedures
• Working efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Helping with closing tasks and general day-to-day café duties as needed
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
• Able to work independently while also being part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to jump in and help wherever needed
• Previous restaurant or food-service experience is an asset, but not required
• Food Handlers certification is an asset but not required. Candidate must be willing to obtain it (at our cost).
This position may be a great fit for parents/guardians looking for consistent weekday hours while their children are at school.
