We have a little goal for this year. If, before we close for our Christmas break, we can reach 1,000 Google reviews and our rating reaches 4.7 stars or higher, and we achieve both of these goals, we will have a huge special promotion like we have never done before as a way of saying thank you to all of our amazing customers.
We know this will be very difficult. We’re still almost 200 five-star reviews away from our goal. ❤️After all, we have worked so hard, day after day, to earn every one of these reviews. Every kind word, every recommendation, and every returning customer means so much to us.Whenever we’re under pressure, this is the fuel that quickly recharges us and keeps us going.
So please cheer us on and help us reach this little dream! We will keep working even harder on our side, doing our very best to provide you with good food and good service.And we hope that God sees all the hard work we are putting in and helps us make this little dream come true. ❤️

🌹🌹To provide our customers with high-quality food, we often have to make many phone calls to find good local suppliers. Sometimes, we even have to drive for several hours to inspect the fish ourselves. This week, we prepared a large amount of fresh fish for you. From loading and unloading to storing it, we handled nearly 2,000 pounds of fish with our own hands💪.After all that, we still had to prepare fresh hand-cut fries, sauces, and slaw. By the end of the day, our backs and legs are often sore and tired. 😥Whenever we feel this way, we look through our customers’ positive reviews. They bring us not only happiness, but also so much energy to keep going.
Of course, sometimes there are people who deliberately criticize or misrepresent our food or service because of small things, or because certain extra requests were not met. We understand that we cannot make every customer happy, even though we are always doing our best.Of course, we always welcome any sincere and well-intentioned reminders or suggestions.
🌹🌹But there are also always people quietly supporting us behind the scenes, recommending many new faces to come and try our food. Watching them leave happy and then come back with new friends makes us feel that we are not fighting this battle alone. We can truly feel this selfless love. This kindness and love make us want to give even more love back to our customers.
Our brand started here locally, and we have always been committed to supporting our local economy and choosing high-quality local ingredients whenever possible. We know how clean the waters around here are and how good the fish are. If you live by the ocean, how could you not enjoy the local fish?
We also see people recommending restaurants because they have a special deal—basically, going wherever it’s cheapest. We have actually tried the food at many fish and chips restaurants around the area, and because of that, we have a much clearer idea of what we want to offer our customers. Smart customers look for good value, not simply the lowest price. You get what you pay for. Our customers deserve high-quality food at a reasonable price.
🌹🌹We would not be where we are today without everyone who has helped us. We are grateful to our local suppliers who continue to support us, to our hardworking cooks and service staff, and especially to every customer who has visited Maggie’s, left us a good review, recommended us to friends, or come back again and again to support us. We are also grateful to every customer and friend who has helped us in the past, is helping us today, or plans to help us in the future.

If you love fish and chips, you definitely have to come to Maggie’s Seafood Market and give us a try! After enjoying your fish and chips, pick up some fresh fish to take home, too. Eating seafood a couple of times a week can be a healthier choice than eating red meat. I hope you all stay healthy, happy, and live to 200—and I hope I can keep serving you for another 100 years before I retire! Haha! 😄😍😍😄
