in 1986, this funky, colourful, Mexican restaurant has been a family run success and has been know as the "Pink house on the hill" since its renovation that same year. Our specialties include delicious fajitas, burritos, tacos, chimichangas, soups, salads, Mexican beers, sangria and margaritas. We source only the freshest ingredients, including locally caught seafood. Reservations at Gina's Mexican Cafe are possible from Monday to Thursday. Gina's Mexican Cafe resides on the cliffside of the downtown core of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada on the beautiful eastern coast of Vancouver Island. Gina's Mexican Cafe is just steps away from the Old City Quarter, Port Place Mall, Vancouver Island Conference Center, The Port Theatre, Level 2, Corner Lounge, The Queens, Great Canadian Casino, The Cambie Hostel, Painted Turtle Guesthouse, Coast Bastion Hotel, Best Western Plus Dorchester Hotel. The Gabriola ferry, Protection Island ferry, Newcastle Island ferry and buses are all very close by as well.
