Come join us tomorrow! So many fun things happening at Buffalo Pound!

Get ready for the Trails and Tales Festival this Saturday, August 15, at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park! 🦬

Enjoy a day of family-friendly activities celebrating Indigenous history, homesteading heritage, and the valley landscape that has brought people together for generations. 🌄

Starting at 10 a.m., activities take place almost every hour. Try a mountain biking workshop, learn traditional atlatl hunting techniques, stop by the Homestead self-use station to make your own butter, or head out on a prairie plant geocaching adventure. 🧭

At 1:30 p.m., join Life Speaker Tim Poitras for a guided hike exploring the traditional uses of resources once found throughout the park. At 4 p.m., hear stories of communities working together to overcome the many challenges faced on the prairies. 🌾

Starting at 7 p.m., come enjoy a two-hour evening concert by The Kelly Bros, presented by the Saskatchewan Country Music Association. Bring your blankets, bug spray, and lawn chairs, and enjoy an unforgettable night under the prairie sky. 🎶

Treats and refreshments will be available for purchase, and the Trailhead Cafe Dirty Soda Station will be open until 9 p.m. 🥤

Don't miss this unique celebration of history, culture, nature, and community!

This event is free with a valid park entry permit.
