We are so happy to be a part of this tour with Tourism Moose Jaw!
A new Tourism Moose Jaw (TMJ) trolley tour is combining local history, ghost stories, and fine dining into a single evening experience.
The newly launched History, Hauntings, & Hopkins Tour combines guided dining at Hopkins Dining Parlour with a behind-the-scenes tour of the heritage building before concluding with TMJ’s popular Ghost Tour aboard the city’s iconic trolley.
The approximately four-hour tour is priced at $129.99 per person and is scheduled to debut on June 23, with additional dates planned for July 5 and July 19.
Organizers say future dates will depend on public interest and demand.
The dining portion of the evening allows guests to select from several entrée options, including prime rib, steak, ribs, chicken alfredo, and lemon dill chicken breast. The meal also includes soup or salad, dessert, and a complimentary coffee, tea, or soft drink. Alcoholic beverages are not included in the package price and may be purchased separately.
Following the meal, guests will take part in an exclusive tour of Hopkins led by owner Linda Lin. The tour will provide a closer look at the building’s history, including its Victorian décor, antique furnishings, and restored heritage features, as well as stories tied to former residents Minnie and Edward Hopkins and the reported hauntings associated with the property.
After the Hopkins tour concludes, guests will board the trolley for TMJ’s regular Ghost Tour, which explores legends, paranormal accounts, and reported hauntings from throughout the city.
Each tour can accommodate up to 28 people, matching the capacity of the trolley.
Tickets can be booked online through TourismMooseJaw.com or by calling 306-693-8097.
