Five Loaves Friday
We have yet another amazing baker to highlight for our dessert auction on September 24th, Old Farmhouse Cafe & Bake Co, a cute ass coffee shop in downtown Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan at 23A Main St N.
I've been in love with Julie's baking for ages. That blueberry scone in the picture was my breakfast on Wednesday. It took a lot of will power to only purchase one thing and a latte when I picked up the gift certificate for the dessert auction.

The S’mores Cheesecake…..graham cracker crust, a creamy layer of chocolate and sweetened condensed milk, vanilla cheesecake, toasted marshmallows, vanilla whip and chocolate ganache. You’re welcome.

As we step into September, and before we go down that Spiced Pumpkin rabbit hole, there’s a few other flavours we want to introduce. First up is a new signature latte called the Farmhouse Latte. It blends the warm comforts of brown sugar, cinnamon and caramel. It’s become a new staff favourite and we’re all super excited to embrace the cozy fall flavours. We couldn’t wait to start off September with this one 🍂 Hint: it’s also amazing in our Apple Spice Fog….its like Apple pie in a cup 💕

As we head into our last weekend of August, I’d like to send out a heartfelt gratitude for each of you who have supported us through our first summer….it was a ride, and I suspect it will continue to be a ride! I was taught when you’re flopping off the side of the horse hanging on for dear life, you don’t give up and let go….thats what we plan to do….so thanks for flopping off the side of the horse with us and still hanging on 🤣 🐎

Saturday lunch always features our Sourdough Pizza. Each week the flavour changes but our authentic Sourdough crust stays classic.
