Two locations. One lasting act of charity. ❤️

This week’s distribution was dedicated as a Sadaqah Jariyah on behalf of Mohamed Lamine Benredouane.

Together, we distributed hot meals across two locations to those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in Montréal. Every meal served was made with the intention that this act of kindness continues to benefit him and weighs heavily on his scale of good deeds.

May Allah ﷻ accept this Sadaqah Jariyah, forgive his shortcomings, expand his grave with light, and grant him the highest ranks of Jannah. Ameen.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” (Sahih Muslim)

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. Every volunteer, every donor, and every hand that served was part of this reward.

May this be a legacy of mercy that continues long after we are gone.

Tomorrow’s distribution will be a sadaqah jariyah for our brother who has passed away. We will be distributing the meals to the homeless community outside of mission old brewery. 100 meals will be sponsored by Islamic Relief Canada while the rest of the meals will be sponsored by ourselves. May our sadaqah jariyah be accepted.
