Are you a Guinness drinker who’s looking for something a wee bit more refreshing for patio season?

We suggest a Black Velvet! Cidre on the bottom, Guinness floating on top - we didn’t invent it but when we have the best Guinness in town and what experts (our one buddy Mac) are calling the best cider for the job, Mystique, we should definitely be your destination for trying this crazy concoction!

It pairs great with a sunbeam straight to the face!

On vous suggère le Black Velvet! Cidre en bas, Guinness qui flotte par dessus. On ne l’a pas inventé mais avec le meilleur Guinness en ville et la cidre parfait pour le job selon des experts (notre ami Mac), la Mystique, on devrait être premier sur ta liste pour goûter ce mélange un peu fou!

What a wonderful evening from start to finish. and are gentleman through and through and had the entire packed room in a trance. There were laughs, some heckles and story after story, masterfully told.

Thanks need to be additionally given to many people who worked hard to bring the night fruition. and his team of organizers did so much amazing work to bring all parties together and we couldn’t be more grateful for for being the Hurley’s point man to make sure all the details were perfect. Thanks need to be extended as well to the Reel Shambles for providing the musical warm up and debrief to book end the soirée perfectly.

Toute une soirée magnifique hier. et sont des vrais gentilhommes qui ont transporté la salle pleine avec leur humour et leur histoires racontées de façon magistrales.

On devrait également remercier plusieurs personnes qui ont travaillés très fort pour réalisé l’événement. Eoghan et son équipe ont fait d’excellente travail pour rassembler tous les morceux nécessaires et on est très reconnaissant de qui a été notre représentant de Hurley’s qui a assuré que tous les détails ont été parfait!

Have you tried our new-look BLT yet?

Well it’s not THAT new, but we feel like we should spread the word. The ingredients are pretty self evident but we’ve done something pretty special to take it to the next level.

We cut the bacon ourselves from slabs and we cut it THICK. We then cover it in maple syrup and black pepper and cook it in the oven to a slightly bitey, candied perfection! Not to mention it’s served up between two perfectly toasted slices of sourdough.

Est-ce que vous avez essayé notre nouveau BLT?

Bien, c’est pas SI nouveau, mais on pense qu’on devrait passer le mot à plus de monde. Les ingrédients sont assez évident mais on pense qu’on a fait quelque chose quand même spéciale.

On coupe le bacon nous-mêmes et on le coupe ÉPAIS. Après ça on le couvert de sirop d’érable et de poivre et le cuit dans le four à un perfection un peu confectionné, un peu piquant. Et il ne faut pas oublié que c’est servi entre des morceaux de pain au levain grillé à perfection.
