Yes we do make all of our baked good in house. Yes they are made with love and tenderness. Yes they taste just like grandma’s home cooking cause I literally stole the recipe from your grandmother. She’s doing great and she’d like you to call her. Getting old isn’t easy and sometimes reaching out can make all the difference. Remember all those summers you spent together when you were her sweet little Angie? I know you’re all grown up now, but you’re never to old to tell your grandma that you love her.

And just like that we are booking for the summer season. If you're interested in taking a weekly spot at the cafe, please fill out the form in our bio. If you want to play at the cafe but can't commit to a weekly spot, please check out our replacement group. We're going to be experimenting with one off shows this summer, so if you're traveling through town, sned us a DM with your availabilities and we'll se what we can do.

What on earth is a Dépanneur Café anyway? Fair question. It’s hard to really pin it down. It’s a cultural hub, that’s for sure. From open to close it’s full of music and fellowship. It’s the kind of place where you can sit down and forget that the rest of the world exists.

It’s a time capsule, but not from the past. It’s a time capsule of this exact moment - when you stopped being person you thought you were and became person you always knew you could be.

It’s somewhere between a church basement and the screened in porch at your grandma’s chalet. With that carrot cake that tastes like pure nostalgia and more chess sets than there are tables.

They call it a third space but as far as I’m concerned it’s my first place cause I sure as hell would rather be here than at home or at work.

Sam Morisson is a friend and neighbour who comes to play original songs every Saturday at 10AM. His songwriting is deeply personal, mixing strong emotions and a quirky sense of humour. Some people wear their hearts on their sleeves. Sam took his heart to the tailor and made a three piece suit out of it and wears it right out in the open for all to see. I usually recommend that people come check out our artists but with Sam I encourage people not to come, because if you do you’ll fall in love with him so hard you won’t be able to get enough, just like we all have.
