Hope everyone is adjusting to our new “normal”!
As you may have noticed, we were closed for the last three weeks on Sundays and Mondays.
From here on we will only be CLOSED ON MONDAYS till mid May when things go back to some “normal”!
This time off has allowed us to keep our staff and family safe, keep our older staff at home and keep DHD Covid free!
Thanks to all for supporting us during these trying times and please stay safe and smart. ❤️💪

For the first time in fifty years, we will not be serving people in the restaurant until further notice

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic we will only be serving orders to take out and through our delivery partners: UBER EATS, Skip the Dishes, Foodora, Door Dash and GOLO.

We are sorry if this inconveniences many of our customers but we must all do our part to stay socially responsible and proactive in this fight against this pandemic.

Hello to all our DHD friends!

I am proud to present to you all what our food truck will look like in a few weeks! Kudos to our friend JASON, of JJNM MARKETING and DESIGN, who came up with the design. Although the final details are not quite set, this is a pretty good representation of what you will see at our future events. I am very proud and quite excited!

Favour I need to ask of all of you:

We are contemplating putting a montage of archive photos on a part on the other side of the truck and I am not quite sure if I should leave the picture of mom and dad on the panel as it appears now in the picture below (this photo dates back to the early sixties!). Do you all think it should stay as is, or should we put it on the other side with the the photos?

Next, does anyone have any old pictures of or at the restaurant that they may be willing to share, or even links to or articles that may be used on our truck? Once we get everything we will pick and choose and let Jason finish his masterpiece. Prizes for anyone providing items that will be used!
