Samedi dernier le premier octobre, j'apprenais le décès de mon client et ami des 42 dernières années, Khatchadour Merdjanian qui opérait la Pâtisserie Arménia au 420 Fleury ouest.
Nous nous étions connus au début des années 80, à cette époque Khatchadour et Sima venait aider son père qui opérait son commerce sur le boulevard Henri bourassa ouest.

Fait à noter; Quand un nouvel immigrant Arménien arrivait au Canada, Hagop traversait immédiatement le boulevard avec le nouvel arrivant pour lui présenter mon père qui disait'il était son premier ami Canadien.

Hagop décéda très jeune et Khatchadour décida de reprendre le commerce et quelques années plus t**d avait pignon sur rue Fleury.

Au fil des années, j'ai connu les deux grandes mères qui aidaient à produire les délicieux Lahmajoun!

J'ai également vue naître et grandir ces deux beaux enfants qui sont Sylvie et Arthur !

Nos profondes sympathies à toute la famille !
