For our family vacation, we headed to South Brook, Nova Scotia, looking for a little peace and quiet — and it was so beautiful.
Lake views, BBQs, campfires, and peaceful evenings together. We also enjoyed exploring the beautiful towns of Lunenburg and Bridgewater.
My husband said, “I could live somewhere like this for a year and just forget about everything.”
I hope that dream comes true someday.

My daughter calls this “girl time” — doing my makeup on my birthday and taking pictures together.
Moments like this make me feel so blessed to have a daughter. ♡

A few days ago, a lovely guest told me my scones were the best she had ever tasted. I was truly touched and a little embarrassed by such a wonderful compliment.

Happy Wednesday!

I appreciate the effort that goes into beautifying St. George Street.But personally, I think the planters seem a bit oversized for the plants
I'd love to see fuller plantings and a more muted tones palette to create a more elegant and welcoming look.
I'd love to hear your thought.♡
