Merry Christmas and Happy holidays everyone . We’ve got some limited edition,home made
Greek holiday cookies .

The brown cookie is called
Melomakarona (μελομακάρονα). Greek Christmas dessert made mainly from flour, semolina, sugar, olive oil and vegetable butter, various spices like cinnamon, orange zest and rose water. Dipped in homemade syrup and topped with crushed almonds (vegetarian dessert, can also be served without crushed almonds on the top).

The white cookie is called kourabies ( κουραμπιές). Greek Christmas dessert made mainly from crushed pistachios and almonds, flour, sugar, butter, orange blossom water and brandy. Topped with powdered sugar.
