It has been a really nice, busy summer with beautiful warm weather and gorgeous evenings. We have enjoyed seeing many familiar faces, and other faces that we’ve missed over the last couple of years. It has been nice to see the new faces in the area too! Summer 2026 is almost wrapped up. For most, it has flown by. And for others summers are long and hot with long working hours. That is how it is for those of us in the restaurant industry in cottage country. As the summer comes to a close, it is time for us and our staff to take a much needed break. On Monday August 31st and Tuesday September 1. The Pepper Mill will be closed for our break. We will reopen to our regular hours on Wednesday September 2 at 4 pm. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

It seems bell Canada lines in the county are down affecting phone and internet services. They are working on the issue and hopefully will have it restored by dinner this evening. We are open today, Sunday June 14 from 4-8pm. If the phone still doesn’t work, just come and we’ll get you seated as soon as possible. Thank you!
