A lovely review found on Google, from our delightful guests;

What a gem of a restaurant! Slightly off the beaten path (unless you are staying at the Edelweiss Inn, which I highly recommend you do), the quality of the food is worth making this a destination restaurant. The food is traditional German/Canadian, and all of it is fresh and prepared from scratch. The bread is amazing. My starter of escargots with 3 cheeses was rich and nostalgic, and we sopped up every drop of sauce with bread. Our mains were a delicious poached haddock in a buttery rich hollandaise sauce, with fresh veg and a baked potato, and my husband really enjoyed his Hunter Schnitzel which came with yummy spaetzel and sauerkraut. We were stuffed but made room to share a slice of authentic Black Forest cake, which was light and delicious. Seriously, if you are anywhere near Middleton, you should make a point of going here!
