It is with great sadness that we must cancel the monthly evenings with “Les Ukeladies de Clare“ due to the fire at The Seashore Restaurant on the weekend. My staff and I cherished having everyone come together for an enjoyable evening to play and sing. And we will truly miss each and everyone of you. Over the past two+ years of gathering together each month. We became more than a group - We became a family. It remains heartbreaking 💔 to see The Seashore burned to the ground each time I pass by. I will truly miss all of you. Simone ❤️💜

You showed up in the middle of the night and worked tirelessly in a devastating situation. We know you did everything possible, and we are deeply grateful for your efforts and for the service you give to our community. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥️

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Seashore Restaurant and Blue Rock Lounge suffered a devastating fire last night.

For over 20 years, Seashore and the Blue Rock Lounge have been a place where our community came together. What began as a dream shared by twin sisters grew into the only large gathering space in the area, a place for celebrations, comfort, connection, and countless memories.

This restaurant has always been more than a business. It has been built and sustained by an incredible team whose dedication and care turned coworkers into family. Their hard work and pride are what made this place what it was.

The loss of the building is heartbreaking, but the loss of a community hub is what hurts the most. We are overwhelmed and deeply grateful for the messages, support, and kindness already shown by our guests, neighbours, and friends.

At this time, we ask for patience and understanding as we take the next steps and focus on our staff and community. Thank you for being part of Seashore Restaurant and Blue Rock Lounge for the past two decades. Your support has meant everything to us.
