After a few days of closing due to the wildfire smoke, and thankfully a couple days of some much-needed relief, Curbside Cookhouse is reopening!

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the smoke cooperates and that we can continue serving you through the rest of the season!

TEMPORARY CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT

With wildfire smoke currently filling the Nicola Valley, we’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily close Curbside Cookhouse.

Unfortunately, our ventilation system pulls the smoky outdoor air into the building, resulting in smokier conditions inside, which makes it difficult to maintain a comfortable and healthy environment for our team members.

The health and wellbeing of our young crew comes first, so we feel this is the responsible decision to make.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the air quality and hope to reopen as soon as conditions improve. We’ll keep everyone updated here when we know more.

WE’RE BACK… AND TACO TUESDAY IS TOO!

After a little time away, we’re excited to be reopening and getting back to serving up your Curbside favourites!

To kick things off, Taco Tuesday is back, and we’re trying something a little different with extended hours to give more people a chance to enjoy them.

First, I want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out over the past few days with messages and well wishes. The support from our amazing customers, friends, family, and the incredible Curbside Cookhouse crew has meant more than you know.

Earlier this week, I underwent an emergency surgery, which is why we had to close on such short notice. Thankfully, the surgery went well, and I’m home recovering. While I’m healing nicely, I’m still a little sore and taking things one day at a time.

As much as I’d love to get back in front of the grill, I want to make sure I’m healthy enough to give you the quality and service you’ve come to expect from Curbside Cookhouse.

Because I am still not quite at the point where I can be upright all day and with the wildfire smoke also affecting Merritt this weekend, we’ve decided to remain closed until Tuesday. We’ll reopen for taco night and I can’t wait to get back!

Thank you again for your patience, understanding, and support. Running Curbside Cookhouse has introduced me to some truly amazing people and I’m incredibly grateful to be part of this community.

July 21st Taco Tuesday canceled.

With temperatures expected to soar this week, Curbside Cookhouse will be closing at 3:00 PM Tuesday through Thursday (July 21–23).

While we love serving our community, the combination of the high outdoor temperatures & the heat generated by our cooking equipment creates a very challenging work environment for our team. The comfort, health, and safety of our young team members must come first.

We appreciate your understanding as we adjust our hours for these days.

Temporary Hours:
Tuesday–Thursday, July 21–23
11am - 3pm

Due to closing early this week, Taco Tuesday will be cancelled & will return
Tuesday July 28th.
