Available in fresh meals, freezer meals, specialty soups, noodles, dumplings, desserts and more. My name is Nica and I am an HCA by profession and a HOMECOOK by heart and passion. I grew up in Manila, Philippines, in Binondo where the oldest Chinatown in the world is located. Growing up, my mom owned a canteen that serves various dishes every day where I helped a lot when school is off. Growing up
in a place where everyone loves food and to eat together are one of the best memories. Since childhood, I've been fascinated and passionate about cooking and trying variety of dishes from all over the globe. Mainly asian and spanish cuisines since I came from a country that is so rich in Spanish and Asian heritage. I was in grade 5 when I realized that my calling is FOOD and in the KITCHEN. But I have been trying different things and job wanting to forget my one true LOVE and PASSION. These past few years, I've realized that I should start following my heart. Over the years I've enjoyed eating out with my family, trying different things. My dad and my brothers were my number 1 besties when it comes to food Being the last brother who left the house, my 3rd brother and I were buddies when it comes to food. Any night that he craved for something(even though he was a little tipsy and it's late) he would ask me if I wanted to go to Chinatown and have some late night cravings satisfied. Well since it's free and I LOVE FOOD, of course I've always said YES and there came the crazy motorcycle rides And my dad, DANNY, was the one who basically got me to fall in love with food and shared most of his LOVE for FOOD. That even on a crazy day at the office, all I had to do was call him and ask to bring me some FOOD of my choice after work. Moving to Canada from Manila with a Population of over 10 million people to Medicine Hat with only 60 thousand people wasn't just a culture shocked, it was also a struggle finding the right stuff to make or even buy the food that I love. But eventually after trying and going to different places and cities, I eventually found the "GOOD STUFF". Amazing enough that I've married the man who has the same LOVE for food as I do. And we are now training our daughter to LOVE it the same way we do. ABOUT: "CHIBOG EXPRESS by Danny's Kitchen":
One evening, my husband Rob and I were talking about having a food business and if we have a restaurant, what are we going to name it? After a few days of discussion we both agreed to one brand name, the birth of Chibog Express by Danny's Kitchen. "CHIBOG" is a slang Filipino word for FOOD or EATS. Danny's Kitchen is in memory of my dad who loves CHIBOG and taught me his love for food. We are homebased and serving different kinds of fresh dishes from appetizers, side dishes, snacks, main meals to desserts and beverages. Every week we have a variety of meals to choose from and we're more than happy to serve you in any way we can. We offer meals, freezer meals, bulk orders as well as catering for any occasion. Please feel free to contact us with any questions and orders you may have. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT
