It has been one whirlwind of a summer so far. Its hard to believe we are into August already. Between catering and events we have been kept pretty busy. I would not trade it for the world. We do however apologize for not being open as much but the heat is a major factor keeping us down. After a busy weekend here in consul we are on restock mode this week. I want to send out a huge thanks to everyone for understanding. Also thanks to all the wonderful staff we have from my catering crew to the trailer crew. Some does overlap and do both.... kudos to you all for all the long hours and hard work you endure to make everything run as smooth as possible. We couldn't do it without our team!!!

We do have another busy week ahead of us. We are going to try and open though. Weather permitting of course. We are out of town friday through monday. Likely will be closed tuesday June 23rd for a restock since monday we are on the road but we will play it by ear.

Next week we have events Tuesday June 9th,10th and 12th. We are most definitely not open those days. And monday is our grocery day. We will see what the weather is like for thursday but likely will be open thursday and saturday next week. Thats the only two days.

We are on a mission to get things ready for our big weekend this weekend. I have a wedding and ken is leaving town for a ball tourney. So we have decided with the ton of stuff we have left to accomplish we are closing today, friday June 5th. We apologize for the inconvenience but we have a pretty big weekend ahead and would like to make sure we have everything done we need, without having to worry about trying to run the trailer as well.

Well today say the least I have really been sucking at keeping everyone updated on days we are open and closed. Last week was just way to hot to be open. Please understand when its 30 degrees outside you can add at least another 10 to 15 degrees inside the trailer. I personally dont do well in heat and I would not expect any of my staff to want to work in that heat neither. Now as far as today goes....it Tuesday so we should be open but.....today we have a company from out of town in to clean our exhaust system. This is mandatory for inspections and of course insurance. So we are busy doing that today. Also if this weather keeps being wet and miserable I am sure we wont open much. I will keep everyone posted the best I can and hopefully everyone understands. Of course if I have an event already booked I do honor it come rain or shine.

We are taking the day off today thursday May 14th!!! This rain is much needed but a pain for us on the trailer. So due to the rain we won't open today. Watch for tomorrow's plan of action.

I forgot to mention we are not at our spot in town today. We are at the rodeo grounds for an event. If you want some chow and something to do this afternoon then come see us at the back end of the rodeo grounds and watch the kids with their cattle while waiting for your grub. There's a cattle show starting at 1130. Come out and see what these young ones have accomplished with their animals. Please be cautious when driving back here as there are kids and animals at large.
