🌟 STAFF HIGHLIGHT: RUBY 🌟

Born in New Zealand and raised in Mahone Bay since she was five years old, Ruby has always had strong roots in this community.

After hearing great things from her brother, who previously worked at Saltbox, she wanted to become part of the team herself... and we’re glad she did!

When she’s not at Saltbox, Ruby is busy balancing school, work, and athletics. A student at Dalhousie University studying Kinesiology, she’s also a member of the Dalhousie Track & Field team.

Her routine?
🏃 Track.
🍻 Work.
📚 School.
🔁 Repeat.

One of Ruby’s proudest accomplishments was competing at Nationals as part of a 4x800m relay team, with each athlete running 800 metres. Even more impressive, that team set a new Dalhousie school record — the fastest 4x800m relay team in the university’s history.

Ruby brings the same dedication, positivity, and teamwork to Saltbox that she brings to the track, and we’re lucky to have her as part of our crew.
