Dinner and a show? We've got you covered...

Having alluded to this last week, today we can announce an EXTENDED live music programme at The Bothy, North Star Beach Suites, Louisbourg.

Due to popular demand, we've augmented our weekly schedule. From this week, in addition to our regular Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows, we've added Tuesday to our roster of live performances. And we're kicking off with Robbie Simms...

On Wednesday we have Chad Tetford, on Thursday Jocelyn and Sheldon, on Friday the remarkable Flo Sampson and on Saturday Jen' MacDonald.

Spirit, our neon detailed lounge and cocktail bar remains open until (at least) 9.30pm each evening. Dinner is served 7 nights per week.

The sun is shining in Louisbourg, the winds have departed, and we're up and running for breakfast, lunch and all day snacks at Coast. Come hungry!

Full dinner service begins at 5pm, sur terrace (weather permitting) or indoors at The Bothy.

Tonight, in our big ole steel shed, we're joined by Amelie Sampson, daughter of Gordy, and granddaughter of Flo who'll be in our midst at North Star next week.

Amelie's career is blossoming right here in Canada, and indeed beyond as part of the music scene in Nashville. This emerging star has a sound all her own, and we're certain you'll love her show.

Joining us for the first time, this Friday, is Amelie Sampson, part of one of Canada's most highly regarded musical dynasties...

And, in further news, we're adding a FIFTH live music night (from next week) to the weekly calendar at North Star. Details to follow...

Whether you'd like to enjoy your repast indoors in our A/C cooled dining room, our sur terrace, we have you covered.

In other news, those snarky Scottish waitresses are on their last warning: one more quip and they'll be on the first boat back to Scotland...

Tonight AND tomorrow evening (Friday and Saturday) at The Bothy - the inimitable powerhouse vocalist/pianist that is Jennifer MacDonald. Think classic hotel lobby vibes and old school songs: she's our Piano Woman, and so much more.

The fog may have has settled over the ocean, but the mood at North Star is upbeat, as aye. We look forward to seeing you!

When tonight's ep airs, we'll be half way through Small Town Escapes! 10 in - 10 to go!

Active and outdoorsy, Shirlanne and Steve crave a coastal home with ocean views, hiking/biking trail access, space to garden, and space for family and friends.

They turn to us to help them find their dream Nova Scotian home.

Mr Chadling Tetfordvale. His show, the very essence of aural pleasure, starts around 6.30pm...

But, before that, we're open for brekky at 8am till 10.30am.

Thereafter, lunch is served from noon till 2.30pm. Our snack menu kicks in from 2.30pm till 4.49pm, whence dinner is served from 5.00pm till 8.30pm. Spirit, our Cocktail bar, will remain open until 9.45pm. After that we'll have to put our girdles back on and insert our curlers...

Aaaaaaaaaaand today at North Star, Lousibourg!

BRUNCH and LUNCH are currently being served, and will be until 2.30pm. Thereafter, we switch to an all afternoon snack menu (soups, sammies, lobster rolls and chowder, etc) until we ring the dinner bell and The Bothy opens at 5pm.

Tonight we have the illustrious Jen MacDonald as your entertainment: expect a mix of island folk, classic soft rock and Songbook. When Jen sings 'House of The Rising Sun', there won't be a dry seat in the house...

Meanwhile, Mrs M's India ink dipped quill is twitching. The pages in her guest ledger are rustling in the soft ocean breeze.
