Today was something special.

A family visiting from Newfoundland walked into our store, curious about how rolling ice cream works. The son decided to try rolling his own ice cream… and the moment he started spreading the cream and watching it freeze, his face lit up like a little kid discovering magic for the first time.

But what touched us the most wasn’t just his smile.

It was his mom standing beside him, watching proudly, recording every second. You could see the happiness in her eyes — not just because of ice cream, but because her son was happy. His brother was laughing, cheering him on, making jokes, and celebrating every roll like it was a big achievement.

For a few minutes, it wasn’t just dessert.
It was family.
It was bonding.
It was memories being made right in front of us.
