Good morning. I am have been dealing with medical issues and have not been able to operate my business as planned for a while. I have had help from family and friends. Prior to closing the take-out location I was in the process of helping an individual to acquire the business location, and use of my equipments until she could affordto pay for them . In return for my kindness, she has made baseless accusations against me after unsuccesful intimidation from her spouse. The claims were made immediately after I exposed her fraudulent activities under the business name. This individual has also stolen equipments and owes me money and has yet to address this, instead she has sought to use the courts and false accusations to avoid accountability. As a business woman and someone who works with vulnerable individuals I take this attack seriously. I am confident that justice will prevail. I have a partner who is ready to invest time and money into continuing the brand but I rather resolve this matter and recover the damages before proceeding. I look forward to working with my partner to continue offering authentic Jamaican food to our valued customers.
