Our next Family Cooking Class is all about slowing down, getting cozy, and baking side by side! Designed for pairs, one adult and one child (ages 8+), families will learn baking tips and techniques from our chef instructors while making their own cookies and shortbread to take home. We’ll sample our creations, warm up with a hot beverage, and spend two hours making memories in the kitchen.

Ice cream, local trees, and a little bit of apple magic - what more could you ask for? 🍦🌳🍎

We had such a sweet time celebrating London becoming the Forest Capital of Canada at our recent ice cream event with the City of London and Haven’s Ice Cream! Guests built their own sundaes with locally made ice creams inspired by trees from our region, topped with preserves made from different species.

We also pressed fresh apple c***r, sampled local apples, and explored the incredible flavours growing right here in our own backyard. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped us celebrate London’s forests in the sweetest way possible!

Forget takeout, this time, we're making it ourselves! 🍜

Our next Teen Cooking Class is bringing the flavours of Vietnam to the kitchen! Teens will build their own bowls of fragrant chicken phở, then roll up fresh salad rolls packed with crunchy veggies and dip them into a savoury sauce.

It'll be a fun evening of new skills, good food, and getting hands-on in the kitchen.

Last one of the season — let's make it count. 🍕🔥

Our final Pizza Party Fundraiser of 2026 is almost here, and we've saved some of the best for last. This month's menu features beautiful cheese from Stonetown Artisan Cheese and specialty ingredients from Niagara Food Specialties — all coming together in our wood-fired oven for one last great night at Growing Chefs! Ontario Headquarters.

Pair it with a selection of Ontario beers, wines, and craft cocktails, and finished with a special chef-crafted dessert — The Golden Hour — an olive oil cake with apple compote and whipped cream. 🍂

Fall has arrived — and it tastes pretty good. 🍂🍝

Our Kids Cooking Class on Tuesday September 22nd is all about the harvest. Young chefs will be roasting vegetables for a ratatouille pasta with parmesan pangrattato and tossing together an autumn kale salad with apples, carrots, pumpkin seeds, and maple-Dijon vinaigrette — a menu that lets the season do the talking.

Our last MACC of the Summer season was a special one! 🔥

We welcomed the end of August with a sizzling class - Chef Nate and Chef Mac lent their expertise in cooking some delicious Filipino classics, including fire-grilled Chicken and Pork skewers, Pancit Palabok, and some sweet Banana Lumpia.

Back to school, back to the kitchen. 🍂🍝

Our Monthly Kids and Teen Cooking Classes are back in September — and we're kicking off the fall season with a menu that makes the most of the harvest.

This month, young cooks will be making a roasted ratatouille pasta with parmesan pangrattato and an autumn kale salad with apples, carrots, pumpkin seeds, and maple-Dijon vinaigrette — fresh, seasonal, and genuinely delicious.
