To our fellow Cheros,
It is with great sadness that we announce the closing of our family restaurant Cheros House of Pupusas. This decision has not come easy for our family as this has always been Eddie’s dream, to own his own pupuseria.
From young age Eddie’s love for pupusas was very apparent as he always pushed his mom, Rebeca to sell pupusas from home. He fell deeper in love and more determined to open up a restaurant a few years ago when he visited El Salvador. Last summer he worked hard to open up the first North American Salvadorean food truck. With help of his friends and family Cheros was able to attend several local events. And as for March 2022 Cheros expanded to the Covent Garden Market.
As a family the decision was made to close Cheros so we can all focus on Eddie’s new journey and recovery. We would love to thank everyone that has supported us at all our events and restaurant. Close and far! To all the friendships that have been made you will all hold a place in our hearts. This is not a good-bye from Cheros it’s a See You Soon! Because we will be back better and stronger.
