WE’RE MOVING!!!
This one is a little emotional for us.
What started as a dream I’ve carried with me since I was a little girl; watching my family cook, growing up around food, and dreaming that maybe one day I could have a place of my own has somehow brought us here.
Chopstix is moving to our new home at 4102 70 Avenue as part of the East & West 70 Station Shopping Centre family.
When we first opened, we didn’t know exactly where this journey would take us. We just knew we wanted to create something genuine. A small family restaurant where we could share the Thai, Lao and Vietnamese flavours we grew up with, cook the way our family taught us, and hopefully create a place people wanted to come back to.
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #39, Lloydminster, SK gave that dream a home.
To the Legion and all of its members, there really aren’t enough words to express our gratitude. Thank you for opening your doors to us, sharing your space, welcoming our family, and giving Chopstix a place to grow. This chapter of our story will always belong partly to you, and we will never forget the kindness and support you’ve shown us.
And to our customers - you are the reason this little dream has been able to become something bigger.
Some of you have been with us from the very beginning. Some found us recently. Some come in so often we already know what you’re going to order. 😂 You’ve celebrated with us, trusted us to feed your families, recommended us to friends, supported our events, left kind reviews, ordered takeout and delivery, and continued showing up for us.
Every single one of those things mattered.
As a small family-run business, there are so many long days, late nights, sacrifices, mistakes, lessons and moments when you wonder if you’re doing enough. Then someone walks through the door and tells us how much they love our food, brings in their family, or simply comes back again and it reminds us why we started.
So while we’re saying goodbye to the place where so much of our story was written, we’re not leaving our roots behind. We’re just giving them a little more room to grow.
Same family.
Same recipes.
Same made-from-scratch food.
Same heart behind everything we do.
Just a new home for the dream.
We cannot wait to open the doors at 4102 70 Avenue and welcome all of you into this next chapter with us.

Saturday, the 26th will be our last day of operations so come bite into happiness and enjoy one last bowl of goodness with us in the Legion.
