One thing no one tells you as a small business owner is just how many requests come your way.. donations, sponsorships, marketing opportunities, and endless services being offered. And that’s totally okay! But as a new business, we’ve learned quickly that you simply can’t say yes to everything.
What we CAN say yes to are the people and organizations who support us, our community, and things we genuinely believe in and this was an easy yes for us!
We love our LCVI customers, we love music, and we love seeing young talent shine. 🎶
Be sure to check out “Clash of the Chords” put on by Jonas, an awesome event showcasing incredible local young musicians, with a portion of proceeds going to the United Way Haliburton Kawartha Lakes.
Tickets are only $7, so grab them while you can! It’s a no-brainer.
🎶 Organized and hosted by local Grade 12 student Jonas Giese of LCVI, the event was created to give young musicians a chance to perform in a supportive, live setting—something that can be difficult to find in the Kawartha Lakes area. 🎸✨
❤ In addition to showcasing emerging talent, the event continues its commitment to giving back. A portion of proceeds will once again be donated to United Way Haliburton Kawartha Lakes, an organization Giese has supported and volunteered with since early childhood. 🤝
🎤 With a growing lineup of talented performers, this year’s event is expected to build on the energy and success of its inaugural show!
