Something powerful is coming to Kindred Coffee Bar Lindsay.

Ahead of the Lindsay Advocate’s Empty Seats panel discussion on July 7, Kawartha Art Gallery is presenting a bold, protest-inspired pop-up exhibition.

Created by seven local women artists - Rylie Van Halteren, Gillian Steven, Samantha Jones, Christina Patton, Ruth Kelly-Koebel, Sydney Martin, and Jess Spagnolo, the exhibition takes the form of protest posters. The works explore civic engagement, democracy, and the ongoing realities of harassment faced by women in public life.

Through bold visuals and personal perspectives, the artists invite conversation, challenge assumptions, and amplify women’s voices in today’s political landscape.
