That's not us talking, that's a reviewer who couldn't get over it. People drive in from Gander just for supper at Liโs Restaurant on Main Street, which tells you most of what you need to know. Chinese and Szechuan alongside Canadian favourites, a dining room that's had a proper facelift, and an orange chicken with fresh oranges quartered right through it that regulars order without opening the menu.
A town of 3,288 with a Chinese restaurant this good surprises people. We stopped being surprised years ago.
