The alarm clocks are earlier, the calendars are fuller, and somehow everyone needs to be in three places at exactly the same time.

There is something about sitting around a table with people you like that makes an ordinary day feel a little better.

September can get busy quickly, so make some time to slow down. Meet a friend you have been meaning to catch up with. Bring the family in for dinner. Gather your golf crew after a round. Invite someone you have not seen all summer.

The food is important, obviously. But the conversation, laughter, stories and time together are what make a meal memorable.

Golf is obviously a big part of what happens around here, but some of the best stories start after the scorecard is put away.

A great shot gets replayed. A terrible shot gets dramatically exaggerated. Someone remembers the one putt they made from across the green and somehow forgets the six that came before it.
That is part of the fun.

September has a funny way of making everyone feel like they need to get their life together.

New routines, back-to-school schedules, busy work weeks, sports starting up again, and suddenly the calendar is full. Somewhere in all of that, we think there should still be room for a good meal and some time with people you actually enjoy.
